Our pure local honey comes from our apiary atop Pigeon Mountain in Northwest Georgia. It is a mixture of everything that blooms from early spring until mid to late summer and is what is known as “Wildflower Honey.” Yes, it is exactly what it sounds like. It is derived from the nectar of a variety of wildflowers and plants which are seasonally in bloom in Northwest Georgia.
These are all wild nectar sources and not from agricultural crops that could have pesticides and other chemicals in them.
This seasons harvest is delicious, tasty, pure dark raw honey and is straight from the bee hives. Unheated, unpasteurized, unprocessed, and minimally filtered with no additives. Because of how we extract our honey, all of its nutritional value remains intact. Therefore, all of the pollen, live enzymes, propolis, vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, minerals, and aromatics are in the same condition as they were from the hive.
